Question by : Is buying your girlfriend a diamond necklace when you just started dating too much?
Me and my girlfriend have been dating for less than a week and i bought her a diamond heart necklace for christmas. if that too much? will it ruin the relationship? is it a good gift to begin with? please help. Thanks.

OMFG Where have you been my whole life? I’d die if my boyfriend got me a diamond necklace. It’s a lot for only a week but I highly doubt she’d be turning it down.

Maybe, it depends how old you are but it might get her used to too much and then when she doesn’t get a Ferrari in a year she would complain, she might also start seeing you for your wallet, or she might think its sweet, depends on the girl.

That is waaay too much. Start out small like a stuff animal, a cute letter/poem, or something she likes. Diamonds are just too much.

well if its a small one (not too many diamonds) then yeah give it to her but if its big ( a lot of diamonds and the heart is big) save it until another special occasion like valentines day

Honestly a diamond necklace is a little over the top to give her when you just started dating.Although i think she will like it(what girl wouldn’t) i think its more of a present for down the road in the relationship.And she might even feel bad because she more then likely didn’t spend nearly as much as you did witch for alot of people can make then feel akward.Plus if you buy her a diamond necklace now what are you gunna buy her next a car.anyways GOOD LUCK!
